IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19

Our offices are following infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are actively monitoring up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. We ask for your full cooperation in following these steps:

  • Our office will communicate with you before an appointment to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • Due to COVID-19, returning patients (last visit within the past year) will need to complete a COVID19 pretreatment questionnaire prior to your arrival for any appointment. This form can be completed and submitted securely on-line.
  • Any new patients (or last visit more than one year ago) must complete a patient registration form (this includes a COVID19 pretreatment questionnaire). This form can be completed and submitted securely on-line. The form can also be printed and filled out, and then brought to your appointment. We can also mail you a copy of the form to fill out prior to your appointment.
  • We ask you to wear a mask or face covering before you enter our building and office.
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
  • You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, childrens toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that youre offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. We will ask you to wait in your car, therefore notify the office when you have reached the parking lot of our office.  We will text or call you as to when to come into the office.
  • We will use “touchless” payment where office staff will request payment over the telephone by credit card in advance of an appointment.
  • It is recommended that you bring your own pen to decrease cross-contamination.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
