I-Ling Chen, DDS
Dr. Chen is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).
Dr. Chen earned her bachelor’s degree at The University of Chicago. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and was honored with the General Dentistry award at graduation. Dr. Chen was a resident in general practice dentistry at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Hospital. She was then a resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Washington Hospital Center, serving as a Chief resident in her fourth year. Dr. Chen is a member of OKU National Dental Honor Dental Society as well as Gorga and Gamma Pi Delta Honorary Societies. Dr. Chen is a facial trauma attending at Washington Hospital Center and continues to train residents in the Washington Hospital Center Oral and Maxillofacial surgery program. Dr. Chen has received two awards for her clinical and surgical instruction to the residents at Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Chen has volunteered her professional expertise in Cambodia, the Dominican Republic, and New Mexico.
