Surbhi Sehgal DMD
Dr. Sehgal joined the practice in 2018 after graduating from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree, B.S. in Biology, from the Ohio State University. Her D.M.D. degree was awarded from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. She chose to broaden her dental training by completing a General Practice Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital before entering OMFS training at the University of Maryland. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate education, Dr. Sehgal has maintained a strong interest in research. She has been recognized and honored for her work, in conjunction with Dr. Robert Ord, by the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has presented at the ACOMS national meeting. She also contributed at the most recent AAOMS meeting. While at Ohio State, she was enrolled in the Health Sciences Scholars program, was the recipient of their Prestigious Scholarship, and a member of the Helix Tri-Beta Honorary Society. Dr. Sehgal believes strongly in giving back to the community. She has routinely participated as a volunteer in numerous community events both locally and internationally. These included “Give Kids a Smile” in Boston and “Flying Doctor of Mercy” where she traveled to Guatemala to proved care to the underserved.
